Interpro 2013

Congratulations to all our Ulster School swimmers on a day that

Team Ulster became interprovincial champions!

Every swimmer played their part in securing a very close victory over

our Leinster friends.

Ulster's 2 captains were Nicky Galloway and Louise Hill who did a brilliant job!

A big Congratulations to Curtis Coulter who broke 2 Irish junior records in the

50 & 100 freestyle!

He missed out on the 200 freestyle record by .5 of a second!

A big thank you to Katherine Wylie and Ross Gillespie our coaches for their

time and expertise, our officials Mark Speers and David Hill for being more

than willing to offer their help and Heather Henderson for being our overall

team Manager.

Thanks for all those who travelled and gave great support to the team.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Leinster Schools

swimming for their hospitality and hard work and effort in hosting this years

interprovincial championships.

Closing dates:

The schools committee has put into place a new arrangement for closing dates, from this gala on the entry fees will be as published on the various gala pages on this website, we will however accept entries up to 48 hours prior to the gala but the entry fee is double the cost that is published. The extra work entailed justifies the increase of fee, this will not be classed as a "time only swim" thus allowing qualification to finals etc. These entries will not appear in the published programme sold at the gala but will be included on the start sheets put out on the day. We will however take a small amount of entries on the day if required, this will count as a "time only swim" with no qualification to finals etc and will cost £5 per swim.

We feel that this is the fairest way of dealing with entries to galas, thus not penalising swimmers for mistakes made by adults.

There will be no change of events on the day if it is found that the mistake has been made by the person sending in the entry, however if it is mistake on our behalf we will rectify it accordingly.

I hope this is clear and makes sense to you, if you need clarification please feel free to contact me.
